I'd rather they kept to conformity with energy costs (0, 5, 10, 15, 25 base costs). Giving only half a dozen skills in one attribute line of one profession a new cost seems an unnecessary break of the pattern.

1 Energy OoB might see the rebirth of the Boon Prot or a similar build.
The energy cost of OOB had nothing to do with why Boon Prots stopped being ran, it was all to do with the huge health sac, which still exists.

this is really interesting, is ANet trying to encourage touch rangers? I mean, they buffed offering of the blood AND two touch skills that require sacrifice. You know what this means. TOUCH RANGERS FTW!!! (and necros using Masochism).

Seriously ANet, I'm quite pissed on your mystic regeneration nerf, but I could give credit to your buff on touch rangers.

RE: Necro buffs & 1e skills...

I don't get it, at least for PvE. I play PvE necro, and still wouldn't take any of these skills except for one-off specialty builds (battery, blood spike). So, are these designed for /N secondaries? For PvP? I'm just not seeing the point when the base skills themselves still suck for general PvE use.

They also changed how the Blood Magic skills appear in the "K" screen. The Health Sacrifice is now shown as a graphic and not as text as part of the description.

My guess is that health sac is cost enough. No need for energy, but probably they can't reduce cost to 0.

In many ways, health sac skills cost double (energy and health).

It's possible, if no abuse occurs, that the energy cost will go away completely in later patch, making all skills that sac health cost no energy.

Spam them till you drop. Quite literally.

Exactly what I thought at first. Even went and checked the official site, but some of those skills were already 10 so I guess they really will be 1 energy now.

Less crying more criticizing please.

I still don't think I'll use Healing Signet, definitely not Lion's Comfort. Heal Sig needs to lose the -40 armor or the cast time, and Lion's Comfort needs to lose the Signet recharge. Either than that, I want to see how everything turns out.

I think some of those 1e skills were 10e skills and were rarely used so Anet decided that this was a good way for people to try it.

All of the skills reduced to 1 energy were previously 5, BR was 10 and went down to 5.
